## Pricing

Cookie Information prices per domain. On 2026-10-21 its pricing page listed two self-service plans in euros. Essential, the cookie banner on its own, starts at €19.50 a month per domain for up to 500 URLs scanned weekly, rising to €40 for 5,000 URLs and €61 for 15,000 URLs, each with 25,000 consents a month included; more consents cost from €9 a month (up to 50,000) to €269 a month (over 1,500,000). Business adds a compliance dashboard and analytics from €36 a month per domain, priced by domains and actions, where an action is any tracked event such as a consent, a page view or a click. The page also states that prices are adjusted by 4% every year on the subscription anniversary. There is no free plan, only a trial.

Cookiequiet is free for one website with unlimited pageviews and geo-targeting. Starter is €3 per website per month or €29 a year, and Pro, with the AI design agent, €9 per website per month or €99 a year, the same figures in dollars.

| Websites | Cookie Information Essential, per year | Cookiequiet, per year |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | €234 (€19.50 × 12) | €0 (Free) or €29 (Starter) |
| 5 | €1,170 | €145 (Starter) or €495 (Pro) |
| 10 | €2,340 | €190 (Agency) |

Those are entry-tier figures, before the 4% yearly adjustment and before extra consents. The [cost calculator](/tools/cookie-banner-cost-calculator) runs other site counts.

## Compliance features

Both tools support Google Consent Mode v2 on every plan. Cookie Information lists a native integration; Cookiequiet sets the six signals to denied before Google tags run when its tag carries one attribute, and updates them on every choice. See [the Consent Mode v2 guide](/guides/google-consent-mode-v2).

Cookie Information lists GDPR, ePrivacy and local data protection authority requirements on Essential, and compliance with regional requirements on custom plans; its pricing page does not describe geo-targeting on the self-service plans. Cookiequiet includes geo-targeting on every plan: everywhere, regulated countries only (the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, Brazil, Canada, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey), or a custom list, with a US opt-out notice and Global Privacy Control honored.

Consent records: Cookiequiet keeps every choice 30 days on Free, 1 year on Starter and 5 years on Pro, with CSV export on Starter and Pro. Cookie Information's pricing page does not state a retention period for consent records; its Business plan offers raw data export for analytics.

Cookie Information lists the IAB TCF v.2.2 among its features. On 2026-10-21 we did not find it by name on Google's list of certified CMPs, which Google requires for AdSense, Ad Manager and AdMob ads shown in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland; ask Cookie Information before relying on it for those ads. Cookiequiet is not certified and does not implement the TCF.

## Setup

Cookie Information's guide to Consent Mode v2 through Google Tag Manager has you add its template from the community gallery, add one row per consent type for the default state (all denied by default), add regions if needed, set a firing time frame in the advanced settings, trigger the tag on Consent Initialization, then preview and submit. It notes that Consent Mode v2 requires gtag.js or Google Tag Manager, and that older Google Analytics tags must be updated first.

Cookiequiet is one script tag placed before your other scripts, with no plugin or tag-manager configuration. The scan fills the cookie table and prefills the policies. Reject all is on by default, and Consent Mode v2 is one attribute on the same tag. Sign-up to a live banner takes about five minutes.

Run a scan, review the categories and generate the cookie policy. Export your consent records from Cookie Information before the subscription ends.
